OFX → XLSX

OFX → XLSX

Create a structured workbook from supported OFX banking data, keeping account context and balances where available.

Purpose

What this converter does

The XLSX export separates Summary, Transactions, Balances and Accounts in four sheets using validated banking OFX content.

Workflow fit

When this route is useful

Useful for reviewing OFX data in a spreadsheet or preparing controlled accounting and reconciliation workflows.

Implementation note

What to expect

A workbook can contain zero transactions when the source has reportable account or balance data. Unsupported OFX product categories are not accepted.

OFX Banking

OFX Banking: support and preparation

Which OFX files are supported?

Only supported banking statements in OFX SGML 102 or XML 221 are accepted. This does not promise support for QFX, cards, investments, loans, pending or correction transactions, or lossless conversion.

Can I check a file before converting?

After signing in, you can request an OFX inspection without using credits or a trial conversion. The summary reports possible missing data and limitations; readiness does not guarantee a successful conversion.

What if dates or balances are missing?

Some CAMT.053 and MT940 outputs require exact value dates or opening balances. You must provide or explicitly attest permitted facts yourself; ValidConvert never silently treats a posting date as a value date or invents an opening balance.
